PATCHBOX is the state-of-the-art network cabling system that replaces conventional cabling and vertical and horizontal cable management. The system provides the exact length of network cables required. This offers advantages by accelerating rack maintenance and reducing downtime to a minimum. It helps to create an efficient and sustainable IT work environment by preventing entangled network cables. There is a 5-year warranty on all solutions from PATCHBOX.

Two types of frames for your PATCHBOX

We offer two types of frames, which you can find below. One for full-size racks called "PATCHBOX Plus+ Frame" and one for wall cabinets, "PATCHBOX 365 Frame". Both can hold up to 24 PATCHBOX cassettes.

The PATCHBOX 365 frame is suitable for small wall-mounted cabinets and provides space for 24 PATCHBOX 365 cassettes. The cassettes with network cables can easily be replaced in a few seconds if necessary.

The PATCHBOX cassettes, made of high-quality stainless steel, contain flat network cables. To connect a cable, you simply slide the cassette into the frame, which then locks in place with a simple click system. Unlock the cable stopper, pull out the Ethernet cable, and lock the stopper once you reach the desired length. Replacing the cassette is just as easy. Disconnect the cable, and it will automatically retract due to the pulley mechanism. Finally, unlock and remove the cassette from the frame.

Flat network cables for more space

The easily replaceable PATCHBOX cassettes contain our flat Ethernet cables. These cables take up less space, are easier to bend, and are better than most round cables. They have been tested according to ISO/IEC 11801 Class Ea and ANSI/EIA/TIA-568 Cat 6A channel standards, are RoHS compliant, and are capable of Power over Ethernet (STP: PoE / UTP: PoE++ Type 3). Our network cables are available in several colors and variants: as shielded or unshielded Cat. 6a cables (STP/UTP) and also as optical fiber (OS2/OM4) - the only retractable fiber optic patch cables on the market. For the rare case when you need to connect from top to bottom, we have a special solution called the Long Range cassette, which offers a maximum cable length of 2.5 m (46RU) instead of 1.8 m (30RU).

PATCHBOX^® Cat.6a Cable

Our flat Cat.6a network cables are tested according to ISO/IEC 11801 Class Ea and ANSI/EIA/TIA-568 Cat 6A channel standards, are RoHS compliant, and are available in eight different colors: black, white, red, green, blue, yellow, gray (STP only), and violet, as well as shielded (STP) and unshielded (UTP).

PATCHBOX^® Fiber Optic Cable

Are you looking for more speed? We offer the only retractable fiber optic patch cables for network racks made with Corning® fibers. These support up to 40 Gigabit with OM4 and up to 100 Gigabit with OS2, as well as LC-LC and LC-SC as our standards.

No more vertical and horizontal cable managers

Using conventional horizontal cable managers, you lose a rack unit. Not with Patchcatch. Our innovative 0RU cable management easily attaches to the side of any 19" rail. It helps you organize your patch cables vertically and horizontally in the rack. It does not require additional cage nuts or rack units.

Setup.exe

Setup.exe is an innovative tool for network installation that allows one technician to do the job of two. It secures the weight of IT equipment, such as switches or patch panels in server and network racks, until they are securely screwed in place. Mounted inside a rack, Setup.exe creates the ideal workspace to place a laptop on or to configure a switch. It is now compatible with 19" rails with threaded holes and square holes.

/dev/mount

Mounting 19" equipment in a network rack has never been easier before – with /dev/mount, our innovative and high-quality replacement for cage nuts. It securely holds the equipment in place before the hex nuts are even fastened, making the hardware mounting process faster, easier, and safer. Our /dev/mount is safer to use than conventional M5 or M6 cage nuts. Fewer parts are needed to secure hardware, saving a great deal of time and hassle.
